Guest Chef series kick-off with Chef Chris Bork on June 30th

The Purple Martin is pleased to announce an exciting new culinary series inspired by comfort foods from across the globe.

Chef Chris Bork (formerly of Blood and Sand) will debut this series with a five course dinner that celebrates the flavors of Chinese-American comfort food.

COURSES

FIRST
“Orange Chicken” – Chicken wing smoked and confit,
orange, chilis, puffed rice.

SECOND
“Egg Drop Soup” – Quail egg, dashi, sesame, green onion.

THIRD
“Roast Duck with pancakes” – Duck sausage, pancake, cucumber, hoisin sauce.

FOURTH
“Sweet and Sour Pork” – Pork belly, pineapple, fennel, vanilla bean.

FIFTH
“Fortune Cookie” – Cannoli style.
